Helpful SUPERVISOR Information
SUPERVISORS - This is the adult with whom you will work throughout the year. During SUMMER 2020 - we will be assigning you a "coach" who will support you getting started over the summer and you will choose a supervisor in the Fall of your Sophomore year.
It is up to YOU to contact your supervisor for meetings.
If you feel your supervisor is not working out - speak to Mrs. Gadue immediately.
Any work given to the supervisor should be given on the expected due date to provide ample time for feedback.
Supervisors may not always have the same academic study as you do - you will have to be flexible and consider staying after school, meeting virtually or during lunches.
Helpful Information for the PROCESS JOURNAL
PROCESS JOURNAL - the place where everything happens and all ideas go! This is not about beauty - it is about function. Your Process Journal is the path to your project - fill it with high-quality information to develop your product and complete the project! Make your THINKING VISIBLE!!!!
Before you begin - it is critical that your process journal suits your style (notebook, online blog, word document, google document etc.). The journal can be handwritten, typed or a combo of both
If you choose an electronic version, I will ask that you set it up on Google Docs so it is backed up and can be shared.
Date EVERYTHING! It helps with organization!
Your Process Journal can be a combo of electronic and paper documents.
Identify every source. Document a hyperlink NOW so you can create a proper reference (in MLA Style) later on.
Your Process Journal is CRITICAL. It is where you will look for all of the information you need for your paper. PLEASE follow every step on the following pages, date every paper in your journal and use the "Steps" to identify entries.
The process journal is evaluated in Criterion B and you will select samples of it to share in the Appendix of the paper.
